Hands On Peace

A programme of music for piano four-hands is given by Orian Shukrun, a 21-year-old orthodox Jew, and Gadi Abu Saman, a 20-year-old Christian Arab. Both are graduates of the WIZO Ma'alot music centre – which serves the Jewish and non-Jewish communities in the North of Israel. (Its aim is to provide quality musical education programmes tailored to the needs of each student, many of whom come from disadvantaged homes.)
