Led by multi-talented keyboard wiz and Geneva native Leo Tardin (winner of the first ever Montreux Jazz Festival International Piano Solo competition in 2000) GP are a lean mean future funk machine. Mixing sparse and spiky grooves, spaced out piano, ambient soundscapes and drum 'n' bass with rap and spoken word, they retain an edgy improvised side to their brainy beats. Wonderful Bronx college lecturer-turned rapper and spoken word poet Ladd provides incisive guest vocals.
