Gary Crosby's Groundation/Nathaniel Facey + Matthew Bourne + Metamorphic

BBC 'Jazz on 3' presenter Jez Nelson hosts this monthly intimate showcase of some of the hottest jazz around. Tonight's headliners are Gary Crosby's Groundation outfit, featuring gifted altoist Facey. Free improv pianist Bourne performs a solo set and to kick the evening off, the haunting Radiohead-inspired group Metamorphic – led by pianist/vocalist Laura Cole – explore moody/ambient songs laced with angular melodies and abrasive improv.
