Freaky cello-led modern jazz from this Swedish-born, Chicago-based, bandleader/composer who draws guitar-like squeals from his instrument with mesmerising results. His superb band features guitarist David Stackenäs, bassist Patric Thorman, trumpeter Emil Strandberg and singer Sofia Jernberg, together they create lustrous off-kilter chamber jazz.
