A floating art and music festival in the Docklands, FAME ('Festival of Art and Music rEvolution') features an art exhibition, live music, film screenings and workshops, and more general goings-on – all aboard former East German fishing vessel MS Stubnitz, docked at Canary Wharf. Tonight, the festival gets a formal opening with Lokkhi Terra, a multinational collective playing multinational sounds that tend towards Afrobeat, Latin jazz and traditional Bengali music. They're supporting headliner Sosimi, a pianist and former associate of Fela Kuti, and his massive group. Earlycomers will also witness a show of acrobatic, magical comedy by Two For Tea. Electro-swing DJs close the evening.
