Eric Alexander/Dave O’Higgins/Kristian Leth Trio

A big, old-fashioned Chicago tenorist, Alexander posseses a broad, wide-angled tone on faster hard bop solos, and an appealing tendency to lag just behind the beat on slower material. He's been forging a strong musical bond with top UK tenorist O'Higgins on several recent tours, and they are backed here by dynamic drummer Leth's trio that includes award-winning pianist Andrew McCormack.
