Emily Maguire

Lilting, folk-tinged, adult acoustic pop from the British songwriter and classically trained instrumentalist who spent two years recording on a farm in Oz and releases her fanbase-financed fourth album, 'Bird Inside a Cage', on July 15. Its title track was inspired by Times journalist Melanie Reid's column about life after being paralysed in a riding accident. Here accompanied by bass player Christian Dunham as part of the Twickenham Festival.
