Eltham College Centenary Concert

Students from Eltham College perform music including Aaron Copland's 'Fanfare for the Common Man'; John Rutter's Allegro vivace from 'Gloria'; Hubert Parry's 'Long since in Egypt's plenteous land' (from 'Judith'); Benjamin Britten's 'This little babe' (from 'A Ceremony of Carols'); Jean Sibelius's Andante festivo; Dag Wirén's 'Marcia' from Serenade for strings, Op 11; Michael Kamen's Extracts from Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (arr J Bocook for band); Turner Layton's 'After you've gone' (arr Taylor for jazz orchestra); Stevie Wonder's 'Too high' (arr Tomaro for jazz orchestra); Cole Porter's 'Love for sale' (from 'The New Yorkers' arr Berry for jazz orchestra; Spiritual: 'Steal away'(arr D Blackwell); and excerpts from Beethoven's Symphnies Nos 4 and 5.
