Zachary Cole Smith’s Brooklyn band are back in action, making enchanting slacker-pop that mashes up brittle US indie (in the vein of Sonic Youth) with krautrock, psychedelia and shoegaze. That may sound pretty arty, but on stage they're endearingly goofy with a tendency to ratchet up their tempos for euphoric slam-dancing.
