Deep Down in… London Fields

An unofficial Bestival and second birthday bash all rolled into one, this party gets deep down in London Fields with a very futuristic electronic line-up and an eclectic Afro-edged. Headlining on the decks it's Eglo Record's acid electro-funk linchpin Funkineven, who is joined by Talking At Me resident and Afrobeat connoisseur Rita Ray and house, bass and techno enthusiast Deboa (a Batty Bass fave). But that's not before boisterous festival supremos United Vibrations mash up Afro, funk, ska and jazz live and there's a PA from urban poet Dean Atta. We can't wait.
