David Preston Quartet + John East Project

Superb yet underrated young modern jazz guitarist Preston has been doing sterling work as singer Ian Shaw's MD and co-writer, but he's an assured Metheny-esque soloist in his own right as well. Here he leads his own band that includes brilliant flautist Gareth Lockrane and top Brit jazz drummer Mark Mondesir. There's vocal/organ-led modern jazz support from East on the early set too.
