Superb young modern jazz guitarist Preston has been doing sterling work as singer Ian Shaw's MD and co-writer, while he's an assured Metheny-esque soloist in his own right as well. Here he's joined by über-skilled six-string bass guitarist Glasgow (Tommy Smith band/Peter Erskine) for a fusion-edged trio with drummer Lowe. They play a mix of Allan Holdsworth, Messiaen and Wayne Shorter tunes, plus there's an open jam in the second set.
