Cory Seznec/Amadou Diagne

Franco-American clawhammer banjo player and fingerstyle guitarist Corentin 'Cory' Seznec (you may have heard his gritty Southern state swamp ditties with the trio Groanbox) teams up with Senegalese griot Diagne. They'll play a blend of Americana and Senegalese music on acoustic guitar, African percussion and gourd banjo – an instrument, fittingly, that's traditionally been played from Africa to the Appalachians.
