Colin Vallon Trio

Emerging Swiss pianist Vallon creates a similarly compelling mix of post-EST rock-edged melody and groove soaked jazz as his fellow Euro jazz piano stars Jef Neve, Michael Wollny and Stefano Bollani. Using subtle electronics and some manically inventive percusion from drummer Samuel Rohrer this is a new trio well worth catching.
