Spitalfields Music Summer Festival closes with a celebration of music by foreigners who famously visited or settled in Georgian London. The former are represented by Haydn’s Symphony No 101 ('The Clock') and Mozart’s Symphony No 4; the latter by JC Bach’s Sinfonia Concertante for flute, two clarinets, two horns and bassoon in E flat major and Handel’s ‘Dettingen Te Deum’. Stephen Layton conducts the City Of London Sinfonia and choir Polyphony.
