Thea Musgrave’s ‘The Voice of Our Ancestors’ promises to ‘create a three-dimensional, surround-sound landscape’. The world premiere is the centrepiece of an evening presenting other stunning John Armitage Memorial commissions, including Paul Patterson’s The Fifth Continent (2005) and Paul Mealor’s ‘Now Sleeps the Crimson Petal’ (2010). The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, Onyx Brass and organist Simon Hogan are conducted by Nicholas Cleobury.
