Time Out says

Christine And The Queens follow in the footsteps of David Bowie, Yoko Ono and Smiths Patti and Robert in curating the twenty-eighth edition of the Southbank Centre’s long-running summer music fest, Meltdown.

The youngest curator in the festival’s history, Chris has put together a huge and varied line-up featuring the likes of Django Django (who kick off proceedings on Friday June 8), serpentwithfeet (Friday June 9), Warpaint (Monday June 12), KOKOROKO (Wednesday June 14) and Sigur Rós with the London Contemporary Orchestra (Friday June 16).

And following a well-reviewed show at Royal Festival Hall back in November, the genderqueer alt-pop prince – also known as Chris, Redcar or plain old Héloïse Letissier – will close the festival himself with two performances on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18. Tickets go on sale on Friday March 17 and you can find more info here
