Chris Hodgkins Quartet + Trish Clowes Quartet

Shorter- and Konitz-influenced saxophonist Clowes leads her band through a set of originals that encompass the diverse sounds of such mavericks as Ravel, Messiaen and Björk, while trumpeter and Jazz Services Director leads his fine four-piece of bassist Alison Rayner, guitarist Max Brittain and saxophonist Diane McLoughlin through standards and originals.
