A family concert aimed at children eight years old and over, and adults, dedicated to exploring the influences of JS Bach and Mozart on Chopin's music. Pupils of the Belsize Music Academy join professional musicians (pianists Sergei Basukinsky and Petr Limonov) and actors to create a production based on the script by Anthony Phillips, translator of Prokofiev's Diaries.
The programme includes works by Bach and Mozart, two composers Chopin held in the highest esteem, as well as Chopin's famous Mazurkas, Nocturnes, Waltzes and the great Barcarolle.
