Chinese New Year at the Royal Festival Hall

To celebrate the start of the Chinese Year of the Dog, Long Yu conducts a special concert with the Philharmonia Orchestra and you're invited! This year, a choir from a small village in China’s Yunnan Province will be performing Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy and a selection of Chinese folk songs. Also playing is 13-year-old Chinese virtuoso Serena Wang as soloist in Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Start your new Lunar year as you mean to go on.
