Brian Culbertson

Charismatic, flashy, high energy US trombonist/keyboardist Culbertson may be a star of bland 'n' bloodless smooth jazz radio, but to his credit his live shows are packed with excitement and see him – mawkish ballads aside – pile on the jazz and funk stylings. He's here with a fine UK band that features Derek Nash, a Jools Holland/Sax Appeal tenor dynamo, and superfly funk bassist Otto Williams.
