Born Ruffians

The Toronto trio pitch up in London with their chunky, stop-start, caffeine-jacked collegiate alt pop. They share some musical genes with Pavement, The Shins and Vampire Weekend, but they're sounding sparser than ever on their new album 'Birthmarks' – and, weirdly, their frontman sounds a lot like Johnny Borrell from Razorlight.
