Bombino

First came Tinariwen, then Terakaft, and now a growing Western interest in Berber music has shone a spotlight on Bombino, a hugely impressive Tuareg guitarist from Niger. He was brought over to Nashville by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys to record his first album, 'Nomad' – a funky fusion of traditional Berber sounds with American rock music, which he'll be presenting tonight.
