BLUESFEST: Bobby Womack

'Soul legend' isn't enough, so we're going with Woah-Mack. Continuing a career which started in Cleveland over 50 years ago, Bobby returns, revitalised by last year's fantastic 'Bravest Man In The Universe' album which included a collaboration with Damon Albarn. With an aching soul voice and a taste for hip hop and bass experimentation, Womack should tear the Albert Hall another one as he headlines the opening night of Bluesfest 2013.
