Blowzabella

Drones aren't just the preserve of heavy doom bands with distortion pedals, they've played an important part in musical history and Blowzabella have been exploiting them since the late ’70s to play their inimitable take on traditional Western folk music. Long, lilting melodies are played on hurdy-gurdies, bagpipes and fiddles and given a solid backbeat by hypnotic electric basslines.
