Black Star Riders

Various members of the most recent Thin Lizzy line-up, led by classic line-up member Scott Gorham, have formed this new group ‘out of respect to Phil Lynott’. They’ll be releasing and touring new material originally intended for a new Thin Lizzy album. Starting a new band rather than risking an old legacy is a novel and welcome move for an ageing band, but, inevitably, Black Star Riders just sound like Lizzy minus Lynott. Still should be a lot of fun.
