BBC Prom 61: San Francisco Symphony and Michael Tilson Thomas

Michael Tilson Thomas conducts the San Francisco Symphony in ‘Decoration Day’ from Charles Ives’s visionary symphony ‘New England Holidays’ and Beethoven’s Third Symphony, the pioneering Romantic ‘Eroica’. In between, they are joined by Chinese soloist Yuja Wang, who brings her spirited playing to bear on Bartók’s Second Piano Concerto.
