Last time this sludgy doom-metal band from the Deep South toured the UK, things went very badly: in August 2012 their tour bus fell off a viaduct in Somerset, and three members of Baroness suffered severe injuries. Unfortunately drummer Allen Blickle and basist Matt Maggioni still have not recovered, and left the band earlier this year, so it's with a new version of Baroness that frontman John Baizley, who broke an arm and a leg in the crash, will venture back to Britain this autumn.
