Time Out says

Throughout the ’90s, Babes In Toyland made Hole sound like Carole King with their awesomely ferocious strain of grungey punk. After over a decade of shrieking, cursing and thrashing the bejeezus out of their guitars, they finally fell apart in 2001 – but now they’re back, with the line-up that made the classic ‘Fontanelle’ and ‘Nemesisters’ album, to show today’s angry youngsters (and plenty of first-time-round fans, of course) just what they’ve been missing. Put it together with the recent Sleater-Kinney reunion, and these are great days indeed for anyone who likes their rock ’n’ roll loud, fierce and feminist.
