Anita Wardell Quartet

Bebop and scat vocalist from Australia, twice winner of a BBC Jazz Award, favours Annie Ross-inspired vocalese to create her own niche among the swathes of lesser female vocalists. Her latest album 'Kinda Blue', explored the Miles Davis album of (almost) the same name, creating cool modal jazz sounds.
