Angel Haze

Young MC Haze (who identifies as agender) does things a bit differently even by the standards of New York’s burgeoning queer rap scene. Back in 2013 they leaked their debut album ‘Dirty Gold’ before release after a falling-out with Republic Records – it sold poorly but showcased their furious flow and suggests that they’re one of the most talented MCs of their generation. Their new full-length ‘Back to the Woods’ (released on an indie label this time) should feature heavily in tonight’s live set.
