Alfredo Rodriguez

A Cuban pianist of enviable credentials, Rodriguez studied with Bill Evans, worked with Celia Cruz, Johnny Pacheco, Mongo Santamaria, Ray Barreto, Tito Puente and mentored by Quincy Jones. Here with his trio of bassist Reinier Elizarde and drummer Henry Cole, they play music from their forthcoming 'Sounds of Space' LP that brings the vibrant Latin-edged virtuosity with flashes of Ravel, Bach and heated modern jazz.
