Ajam

This London-based sextet have their own brand of Iranian rap-folk fusion, blending ouds, baglamas (a long-necked, bulb-ended lute) and traditional flutes with speedy flows and big beats. Ajam is an ancient word for Farsi-speaking people, and their music is suitably rootsy.
