Samba Mapangala And Orchestra Virunga, Yaaba Funk, Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra, The Rasites, The Endless Journey, Brinsley Forde, Jaliba Kuyateh, Diabel Cissokho. The UK's largest celebration of African music reaches its 21st birthday this year and they've reduced the nominal £7 entry fee of 2011 to absolutely zilch! So you can see a handful of some of the best acts from all over the continent, as well as unique arts and crafts and food without breaking the bank. Confirmed so far, are the highly danceable Afro-funk freakout 11-strong Yabba Funk and Kenyan Lingala musican Mapangala and his '80s band Orchestra Virunga.
