Aaron Parks Trio

New York pianist Parks leaped from relative obscurity to being one of the hottest names on the current global jazz scene, all thanks to his astonishing 'Invisible Cinema' album that mixed far-sighted rock-inspired melodies and gilt-edged improvising. Tonight he leads his trio, which includes bassist Ben Street and legendary drummer Billy Hart (who has played with Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner). Together they play jazz of the highest quality with elegance, class and generation-spanning talent.
