Organised by Vintage Festival curators Wayne, Gerardine and Jack Hemingway, the Southbank Centre's New Year's Eve Party should offer a stylishly retro way to see in the New Year. Pop-up venues inside the Royal Festival Hall, jive dance classes and OTT cocktails from the TIKI Bar should all help you time travel from 1920s-1990s. The dress code: pick a decade and dress glamorously.
Stop by The Torch Club for big band sounds from the Alex Meedham and his 18 piece orchestra and if you're feeling extra flush, book in some New Year's eve dining at The Clore Ballroom 'cabaret club'. The jewel in the Hall though, is the terrace: if you're lucky enough to squeeze your way through, you'll be able to ring in 2018 while watching an explosive fireworks display over the Thames.
