The greener, rougher and folkier brother festival of Truck fest, Wood aims to be the most environmentally friendly festival of the season and uses nothing but renewable resources, including a bicycle-powered disco, showers heated by a wood-burner and composting toilets. As well as the music – which features melodic indie kid Sweet Baboo and the lush folk-pop of Alessi's Ark – there will be numerous workshops for kids and adults alike, featuring yoga, singing, woodcraft and more. And we managed that whole thing without one filthy pun about getting wood. Phew
