Marking 250 years since James Cook's ship Endeavour set sail from Plymouth, this new exhibition at the British Museum takes its own intrepid journey into the importance of Cook's three major voyages across the globe - and their continued legacy. The British Library is keen to expand of the traditional 'white-man-discovers-new-land' motif, and have included the perspectives of the people Cook met, including the drawings of Polynesian high priest and navigator Tupaia.
