A display of original artwork, notes and sketches relating to Judith Kerr's work, including 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea', which began as a bedtime story for the author's children and, by the time it celebrated its fortieth anniversary in 2008, had been translated into 11 languages and sold more than five million copies. Young visitors will be able to step into Sophie's kitchen to have tea with a life-size 'Tiger'. Also featured are images from Kerr's 'Mog' series and her autobiographical novel, 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, which shares her childhood experience of fleeing Germany in 1933.
