The line-up and topics for this one-day series of talks make it a must for fans of electronic music, with the highlight being the afternoon panel discussion between former employees of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and EMS (Electronic Music Studios). But equally compelling are earlier talks throughout the day – including Dr James Mooney on the work and music of Hugh Davies, inventor of the Sho Zyg, and writer Jo Hutton on the work of Daphne Oram. Some events are free, but the panel discussion costs £10 and should be booked via website.
