Charles Dickens: Man of Science

'It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,' once wrote Charles Dickens. And indeed the author's own age was one of unbridled invention and bold discoveries. This new exhibition claims Dickens as a friend of both science and scientists. It shows how he helped promote new research and used his own writing to draw attention to largely ignored illnesses.
