British Museum Late: The Book of the Dead – Journey into the Afterlife

A late opening event in the Great Court, presented in association with Home live art and based around the exhibition 'Journey through the Afterlife: The Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead'. Site-specific theatre company Periplum and other performers, curators and experts present 'theatrical moments', music, dance, film, participatory performances and workshops which draw out the themes of the exhibition, as well as contemporary thoughts and opinions on death and the afterlife. Some events are ticketed.
