Acquired by the National Trust in 2010, this early nineteenth-century terraced house is a must-visit for its richly decorated rooms. The interiors were created by Kenyan-born poet, novelist, mathematics philosopher and civil servant Khadambi Asalache, who transformed it over 20 years into the beautiful work of art it is today. You'll need to book in advance to visit.
