King George II's lovely wife Caroline threw a great party, and this is your chance to experience one. Visit the ornamental gardens at Kensington Palace to celebrate the fashions of the 1730s, meeting members of the Georgian Court, learning about what music was popular at the time, trying out military drills and tasting some Georgian flavours of ice cream. Visitors can transform themselves into the perfect Georgian courtier by completing a series of challenges – if they do a particularly good job they might even catch the eye of the Queen herself. Activities are included in the cost of admission, and under-16s go free with a paying adult.
