February is a busy time, and half term can feel like a massive slog if the weather’s bad and the kids are itching to get out. But luckily for us, the Royal Museums in Greenwich have got engaging and informative programmes of kid-friendly shows and workshops.
The Royal Observatory has everything from Planetarium shows all about the Lunar New Year, to Ted’s Space Adventure (and journey through the solar system for younger attendees), and an amateur astronomy for beginners course. Cutty Sark has character actors taking us on an adventure back in time throughout half term, along with some musical storytelling sessions. The National Maritime Museum has plenty of family friendly exhibitions and shows: think the AHOY! gallery, collaborative quilting or Penguin Pride. Have a look at the website for more details of all the brilliant events.
