Sores, Spores and Sickly Bugs

Discover a century's worth of medical history in these two-hour immersive sessions featuring virtual experiments and interactive exhibits, as well as the chance to enter the cell-shaped pod that's suspended over the Blizard Institute's laboratories. Visitors will meet doctors from both 1915 and 2015 to hear more about how healthy (and diseased) the East End has been over the last 100 years, and activities in the Pod include using high-power microscopes to diagnose cancer and viewing real body parts.
