Penguin Waddle

The penguins are the monochrome stars of London Zoo, so we can certainly get behind this annual event which aims to raise funds for ZSL's work with our amphibious feathered friends. Children aged ten and under are encouraged to pick out their best penguin outfits for this short waddle through the zoo, with prizes to be won for the best fancy dress and the most sponsorship raised. Registration costs £7 and spectator tickets cost £5, but participants and their guardians and supporters must pay the usual zoo admission charges on top of that, and every waddler is asked to raise a minimum of £20. A short talk on penguins will follow the action, and goody bags will be awarded to all fundraisers.
