Creepy, gap-toothed faces may be the more managable pumpkin designs to tackle for us amateurs, but we applaud any attempts to create something more striking. The London Aquarium will be challenging young visitors to spot their intricate, hand-carved pumpkins this Halloween, all of which will feature marine-inspired designs such as grinning piranhas and spooky sharks. Those who visit on October 31 itself will get to meet the Fish Witch; not in fact an alternative name for a seafood sandwich but a green-haired sorceress who likes to share spooky stories and hand out free lollipops.
