A day of music aimed at children and young people. A drop-in workshop starting at 10am invites children to have a go at making music and playing instruments,as well as taking part in an exploration of the site with an activity sheet. At noon the London Philharmonic Orchestra perform a selection of 1920s music, including Shostakovitch, Honegger and Gershwin, culminating with a supersonic finale of Respighi's The Pines Of Rome. Finally, a guest ensemble of young musicians entertain youngsters in the Clore Ballroom with a selection of great tunes.
