The Barbican kicks off its new family-focused global film strand, Framed Film Club, with 'Le Petit Nicholas', a funny French tale about the idyllic life of an eight-year-old single child whose world is turned upside down when he misunderstands an overheard conversation. 'Ice Age 4: Continental Drift' follows on Sep 22, and a series of shorts, High Jink and SIlly Shenanigans, on Sep 29. On the last Saturday of each month Framed Film Club Extra will run workshops and free hands-on activities for kids – kicking off on Sep 25 with a workshop on set design influenced by German Expressionism. No unaccompanied adults or children.
